Dear Parents,
We are extremely excited to introduce the AMST Summer Camp of 2026!
As you know this summer will be similar to how it’s run each year, it is still our main goal to provide your children with an amazing summer camp experience!!
Each week will revolve around a different Country. The Country of the week will be expressed through our weekly lessons in History, Culinary cooking classes, and Arts and crafts in which your children will explore the different themes of history and culture.
Each week, you will be provided with the weekly schedule so that you are aware of the activities taking place and can plan accordingly. We want to encourage campers to take part in new activities in order to learn new skills. If you have any questions regarding the schedule that has been sent, do not hesitate to ask.
For trips, we will be having a trip every week and the price of the trip will depend on the cost of the place and transportation (trip cost not included in summer camp fee). There will be a permission form that needs to be signed and returned back to us before the trip day along with the payment attached. We are finalizing the summer camp itinerary which will include all eight weeks.
Theme for 2026
The theme for this year’s summer camp is “Living Water & Everlasting Life” (John 4:14) along with our golden verse of the year: “You shall be My witnesses.” — Acts 1:8. Our focus is on helping children discover the true source of life, joy, and fulfillment found in Jesus Christ, the Living Water, who leads us to everlasting life. Through daily lessons, activities, and spiritual discussions, campers will learn how Christ refreshes our hearts, strengthens our faith, and calls us to be His witnesses in the world around us. Together, we will explore important biblical stories centered around water, including Christ’s encounter with St. Photini the Samaritan Woman, who received the Living Water and became a witness for God to those around her. We will also learn about saints who reflected Christ’s love, purity, and faithfulness in their lives and were witnesses to God in front of many. In a society that often leaves us spiritually confused, our goal is to help children grow deeper in their relationship with God, remain rooted in the life of the Church, and become overflowing examples of His love and truth to those around them.
This year, the counselor’s have been working hard to prepare new, engaging and fun educational activities ranging on a variety of topics, including STEM, geography, history, and more. Each week, your child will embark on a journey to explore a different country around the world. We will also learn about ecology as each child will nurture their own plant throughout the summer. We will be doing all this and more this summer; we are so excited to share this fun summer with your child!
As always we will be taking all the necessary precautions to ensure the safety and health of our campers. We ask that you review the following rules with your children prior to coming to camp.
Rules of the Camp
- Campers may not drink from the water fountain directly! They must only use it to fill up a water bottle.
- Campers will need to wash their hands and/or apply hand sanitizer when directed to do so.
- All Campers are expected to treat their peers, camp staff and the church property with respect. Bully of any form will not be tolerated.
