Why did God create people knowing they will end up in hell?

Veronya Hanna Sunday December 8th, 2019 Youth

In the beginning of the chapter it states that God is all-powerful and all-knowing but it also states that we should believe in God’s plans for us.
There are many things God knows more than us because God’s mind is infinite (time, space, and matter are unlimited). As humans, we try to rationalize and try to understand His reasons for certain decisions, but we can not because our minds are limited. The prophet Isaiah in chapter 55 verses 8-9 gives us proof of that.
A world with no humans
Some people think that God should not have created humans in the first place, and that a world without human spot would be better than our existing world, but these saying have no concrete evidence. It is not fair for good people to be deprived from being with God in heaven because of other people’s bad decisions to turn away from God and heaven.

A world with human robots
Other people feel that God should have only created the ones who loved him, but that is not the type of relationship God wants from us. God wants us to love him and chose to have a relationship with him through our own freewill. God gives all of us the same opportunity to chose between being with him in heaven or not.
A world with free humans
Humans have the free will to make the decision to see if they truly love God. Our love for God is a choice and not forced because if God forced us to love him than that love would be meaningless. Love is only true if it is a choice and we are free to make that choice.
Which of these four options would allow love to exist?
• Create no humans.
• Create humans but not have the freewill to chose.
• Create humans who only go to heaven.
• Create humans and they have the freewill to chose heaven or hell.
The last option is the best, because our love for God will than be true and meaningful.
Final thoughts
Wisdom 1:13 states that God did not create death nor did he want us to be destroyed. It is your decision to pick what path we want to go on either the good path getting closer to God in heaven or the bad path getting farther away from Him.
The most generous thing God can give us is our freedom. And with that freedom it is our choice to chose whether we should continue to reject Him or become more closer to Him.
As humans we need to ask ourselves if we will betray and resist God just like Judas or have a relationship with God and come to love Him just like John and many others.
